STATEMENT

I create imagined landscapes inspired by nature, abstraction, and inner visions. These invented spaces emerge through a process of experimentation with color, form, and texture. In the studio, my work develops in response to what came before and what follows, allowing chance and intuition to guide each piece.

Each painting evolves in response to the others, forming an ongoing visual dialogue. Shapes, colors, and compositions begin to echo across the work, guiding one another and creating a shared language. This intuitive exchange allows unexpected relationships to emerge.

Nature has always been a central influence. Early experiences spent outdoors—hiking, camping, and exploring—fostered a deep connection to the land that continues to shape my practice. While abstraction is a primary influence, the work remains grounded in observations of the natural world, filtered through memory and subconscious thought.
